When am I required to give notice for moving out?
You are required to give notice two weeks before moving out.

If you give us one day notice, you will be charged for the two weeks notice period that was not given.
You can move out at any time during your payment period, you just need to give us 14 days written notice to move out of storage. This ensures you don’t lose any of your security deposit, and any unused rent is refunded back to you.
You also need to confirm when you have emptied your room. Please leave the room in the same condition as when you began renting it and remove your padlock from the door before leaving the store. If you have given us the required written notice but leave the padlock on the door on the day you were due to move out, we will presume you have changed your mind and need to continue your storage and we will continue to charge you for your storage usage.

Yes, just contact us on 01354 661999 and we will amend your move out date on your customer record. Your payments will continue until you inform us that you have vacated the room. Once we have received notification you have left the room, we will process any refund owed to you.

We require this so we may accommodate new customers, as without notice, as an example we may turn someone away when we’re full – not knowing someone is moving out the next day.

If Van hire / removals companies are required, we have a list of recommended companies we can give you the details of.

The amount we will refund you is on a pro-rated basis, so you get refunded for every day after you have moved out, that you had already paid for. The total of the refund will be based on how much you paid for your storage fees and security deposit when you moved in. T & C of any discounts applied to your billing, and whether or not you have given us notice that you intended to close your account will also affect this.
