Moving house can be a stressful event. Whether you are moving home or going away for university, we can provide a space to keep your things safe. We offer storage for moving houses in various size units so you can find the perfect fit for your long or short term needs.
How much storage space do I need?
The amount of space you need entirely depends on how much stuff you want to store. But from our experience, we recommend the following:
One Bedroom Flat Storage Space
If you’re moving out of a one-bedroom flat you’d need somewhere in the region of 50 to 80 square ft of space for storage.
Two Bedroom House Storage Space
For a two bedroom house, or even a larger apartment, we would suggest a minimum of 100 square foot storage space – but again this largely depends on how much stuff you are needing to store.
Three/Four Bedroom House Storage Space
Moving out of a larger house of either three bedrooms or four bedrooms, we’d recommend around 150 square foot of storage space.
We have containers of 160 square foot, 8’ x 20’.

How much is self storage?
We have a range of self storage options, with our cheapest options starting at around £13 per week for a small storage unit of 30 square feet. We then offer many different sizes of storage units, up to our largest unit size of 160 square feet – which is around £30 per week. All accurate pricing information can be found here.
Do I need a removal company?
This is a common dilemma people have when moving house. Should you try and move your belongings yourself or hire a removal company to do it for you?
While it is tempting to save money by doing it yourself, hiring a professional removal company can save you a lot of time and hassle. You don’t want to risk damaging expensive or sentimental items, or even scratching or tearing your furniture.
